This RS PRO motor protection switch is a device used to protect against overloading or failure due to an external conductor. It monitors current consumption and acts as a circuit breaker when the current reaches a specific limit. You'll often find a protection switch used on small machines.
You can adapt this switch to the needs of your system as you can position it either horizontally or vertically using its screw termination.
